Sizing your pet for a collar

A collar should be comfortable for your pet without falling off of him! For the best fit, measure your pets neck and add two inches. Check the fit by placing two fingers between the collar and your pets neck.  Ifthey can't fit, the collar is too small. Ifthereistoo much extra room, the collar is too big.

Kitty Corner-Knitten Proofing your Home!
We have all heard the saying, "curiousity killed the cat." Just as you would childproof your home for a toddler—it is important to do the same for a new kitten. Kittens are capable of jumping and squeezing into | small spaces. Use childproof latches for cabinets. Make sure your kitten hasn't jumped into the dray before you turn it on (a favored hiding spotl). Place dangling wires out of reach. Move houseplants out of reach, they can be poisonous.  Move all chemicals, medications, lotions or cosmetics to high shelves or lock them up.
Spa Puppy

Summer is here and Cain & Abie's All Natural Paw Rub is a definite hit. Not only is it yreat for your best friend' dry cracked paws, but also for sunburnt noses! And people can use it for chapped lips and dry hands and feet! Our All Natural Paw Flub is formulated to protect, heal and moisturize with wonderful human grade ingredients such as Shea Butter, Aloe, and Vitamin E.

Adoption Comer    Meet Cooper!

We just adopted an adorable little long-haired Chihuahua named Cooper from the New Beginnings Pet Rescue in Toms River, NJ. He is getting along well with his new brothers, Louie (our pug mix) and Shadow (our chocolate lab). He also loves the kids (especially Alex, our youngest!). He has been a joy to have around! Pet-finder.com is a great resource to find pets in need of homes.

New Product for the 4th!

Patriotic party collars are just the thing to keep your pet festive for the 4th of July holiday! In all sizes! ($10)

"Uncle Sam" costume—complete with hat and bowtie! ($28)

The "stars and stripes" pattern comes in collars and leads. ($16-$24)

Paws at the Beach was founded in 2006 by Colleen S Todd Cunningham together with their five children and three dogs! We love finding new and fun things for our pets and decided to turn our love forthem into a business.    We wanted to create an environment that is pet-friendly and that complimented the beach environment! We carry collars, harnesses and leads (many with a beachthemettoys, snacks, bedding, bowls, safety (such as boat ramps, life jackets and cooling products), and apparel. We also wantedto do something to help our furry friends. That's why a portion of our proceeds is donated to animal related charities.    Through June 30, 2006, we have donated more than 10% of our sales.
